Yesterday evening Adams family was down here in Logan with us. Carla, Adams mom, Thought it would be a 'good' idea to let Adam drive her car. Not so. In fact Adam was driving more like one of these crazy Utah people whose State we chose to inhabit.
He's in denial.
It's ok though because there are four witnesses to this event. Funny how he always gives me crap for my driving.
For some reason I found it mildly attractive and slightly intelligent... I mean we live here with all these crazy drivers and will for awhile longer too so we might as well try to fit into the culture right? So today I decided to become a bully too. When we were in church I told Adam I was going to beat him up in the parking lot after church, steal his money, and break his glasses. He didn't really think I was serious and I probably wasn't... So he just laughed. Then he was playing with my wedding ring, so I told him to give it back or I'd take his lunch money... this one I was pretty serious about. He must have believed me too because my ring is on my finger still.
Today he told me its a really good thing he loves me.... and I too think its a good thing, seeing how I'll be taking his lunch money basically for the rest of his life.
Maybe tomorrow we'll try another 'Utah' thing and start talking in a funny accent and wearing striped scarves like the one's you see in Harry Potter movies:)
Happy Holidays folks!

A Little Walking Never Hurt Anyone
So last night I have this dream ok. Me and Adam and some kid that I DON'T recognize but is supposedly Adams friend are all in Salt Lake together. Anyways, we go to Walmart and I run in to grab a loaf of bread, of all things... bread. I come back out and they're GONE! Straight up left me! Jerks, I know. So of course I assume it was all Adams Idea and I'm livid. I then continue to walk back to Logan.... obviously not in my right mind or else I would have called for a town car, but the beside the point... I'm walking in four feet of snow, freezing to death, climbing the frozen mountains (like you see in those weird survival shows on TV)... But don't worry, I didn't starve to death, lucky I had that loaf of bread we went all the way to Salt Lake for. I finally make it back to Logan, 6 days later!
This morning I wake up to a call from Adam (I was ticked), it went a little something like this....
Adam~ "Hey if I come pick you up will you drive me to class so I don't have to walk?"
He has a hurt foot
Sometimes when I'm really tired my level of functioning and reasoning is right around...mmmm... I'd say zero, and Adam knows this, so my thought process went more like this
Jenna's thoughts~ Don't have to walk?? Are you kidding me! I HATE you! You know nothing about pain until you've walked back from Salt lake in Freezing cold temperatures and four feet of snow all in one night!! Don't tell me your foot hurts!!!.... OK ummm just a dream, I'm ok
I then answered with a cool ans collected...
Jenna~ "Yeah sure"
I imagine my incredibly hard yet rewarding journey looked something like this~
Yeah right... like I'd ever be this stupid

Because we're kinda spoiled.....
So for the first time... mmm... I'd say probably ever, me and Adam have had to go with out each other this week. We've been slightly spoiled in the fact that it's never been longer than maybe 5 hours that we haven't physically seen each other. So yesterday I became a Skyper. Best thing in the WHOLE world. We talked last night for so long that I fell asleep on Skype so when I woke up at 4:30 in the morning... there I was on the screen. This afternoon I forced Adam to entertain me live on Skype while I made the most amazing rice crispie treats ever!! Then I got to talk to one of my most favorite people in the world who I am excited to feature on this blog----- MARCUS MORRISON! But because I'm going crazy by myself and I'm absolutely convinced that Adam is distraught and in all sorts of misery and a state of deep depression, I had Marcus give me back to Adam. You may be asking yourself what kinds of conversations two weird and engaged kids could possibly have over video chat?? Well the following is a result of such conversations-----
This is why I love him

... And then there were Two
Someone once said that one of the greatest challenges in life could be the bringing of two families together... They obviously didn't marry a local boy.
With Thanksgiving quickly approaching I started wondering where me and Adam would end up in the future for the holidays each year. I then came to this realization.... I'm marrying the boy next door. When you marry someone local its not 'lets go here one year and then there the next' it's 'WOOHOO!!! Twice the food and double the celebration!'

The soon to be Walkers
Feeling the need to be more of a trophy wife/ better record keeper now that me and Adam are getting married I decided to create a blog. Not sure who will find any of this information pertinent to their own lives I plan to post anyways for 3 reasons.... 1- Because curiosity killed the cat, someone somewhere must be curious to read about two country kids from Idaho who decided to get hitched. 2- Because someday when we're full of ambition and we move to some far away big city for graduate school, our parents are going to want to see pictures of their (maybe someday) grandchildren and read all about our thrilling adventurous life. 3- Finally because I'm slowly working my way up to keeping an A+ journal and I hear keeping a blog is the first step, plus it will also give me an incentive to take more pictures relevant to our life, so maybe our children will actually have baby pictures.
So now more about us! I'm Jenna and on December 18th 2010 I'm marrying my best friend in the whole world, Adam Walker. He came home from his mission on June 17th, two days later I was in his kitchen making dinner when he came home from work and now, 4 1/2 months later, look where we are. His forward thinking mother told me over and over again that when her son got home I needed to meet him, she was right. Me and Adam now live in Logan Utah and go to school at Utah State University. We are probably one of the most crazy, fun, and overall intriguing couples ever. One photograph, one single moment captured through the lens, describes our personalities and relationship in a way that words could not describe or do it justice.....
